Debate Topics

Every night the television news talks about the politicians, the financial problems on Wall Street, the war in Iraq, baseball, basketball, NASCAR, wrestling, etc. Topics in the news are all around us. But, what do you feel strongly about? We have been making a list of "Hot Topics". Here they are so far:
- Who should be president?
- MCAS or no MCAS?
- Should minors be tried as adults for certain crimes?
- Does an "age cap" matter in choosing a boyfriend or girlfriend?
- What is appropriate behavior in school? For students; for teachers.
- Should Conte become a K-8 school? A K-12 school?
- Should Conte become an extended day school next year?
- After School Program, what should be offered?
